Rabri Gulab Jamun is a very unique and signature dish carefully curated by our Chefs. We Claim it tastes divine!! So without wasting your time let’s jump into the recipe:
Ingredients for Chashni
2 cups of sugar
2 Cups of water
Allow sugar syrup to boil
Add 4 cardamom
Reduce flame from best to medium.
Ingredients for Gulab Jamun:
Ghee or oil
Khova/ Milk powder
In a separate bowl take 4 tbsp maida.
¼ tsp of baking powder.
1 cup water.
Knead together to form a soft dough.
(While kneading the jamuns into smooth balls, if you find lots of wrinkles on the surface of the jamuns, then you know that your dough is too tight. Add a little more fresh Khova ( if you have on hand) or otherwise a few tsp. of milk. Knead the dough again until smooth.)
Make small smooth balls of this dough and deep fry them in Pure desi Ghee until the color is beautiful golden brown.
Now add this Gulab jamun to the sugar syrup or Chashni. Leave for 1 hour under room temperature.
Now let’s give these beautiful gulab jamuns a delicious twist!! Wwe will serve them in Rabri!
To make rabri, you will need any kind of milk, sugar, kesar and pista.
Pour the milk in a pan, add sugar and simmer it until it reduces to 1/3rd of its actual quantity. When the milk is being simmered, the cream formed is moved and stuck on the side. Keep repeating this process until you get a thick consistency and rabri like texture.
Serve the rabri in a bowl and keep two gulab jamuns on the top of it! Garnish with pista and kesar. And your homemade Rabri Gulab Jamun is ready to be served!
